  • Principles of Alignment
    Patella center should be directly aligned over the 2nd metatarsal,
    Hip, knee, and ankle should always rotate in equal motion.
    Spine lengthened but maintaining natural curve.
    Mandible parallel to floor.
    • Lower leg aligned like 'building blocks'.
    • Weight evenly spread between toes.
    • 2/3rd of weight on ball of foot and heel when flat footed.
    No hyper extension or flexion.
    Sternum and pubic bone aligned to engage the core.
    Pelvis should not be posteriorly or anteriorly aligned.
