Trace Table

• A trace table is also called desk checking
• A Trace table check the algorithm for correctness. It ensures that the algorithm is doing what is intended.
• In a trace table the column shows the variables and the row shows the steps in the program
• Desk Checking is done manually executing the steps in the algorithm one by one, while keeping track of the result.
