• Hierarchical - depending on the position and authority
• According to Importance - based on most benefited to the least benefited
• Scope of the study - extent to which the research area will be explored. it explain the parameters within which the study will be operating
• Delimitation - it aims to narrow down the scope of your study
• Limitation - it aims to identify the potential weakness and shortcomings of the study that cannot be control
• Conceptual Definition of terms - basic dictionary definition. the universal meaning of the term
• Operational definition of terms - how the term is applied or used in research
