• Somatic Symptom Disorder

  • Excessive thoughts, feelings, or behaviors related to the somatic symptoms or associated health concerns
  • persistent high level of anxiety about health or symptoms
  • involves distressing physical symptoms with no clear medical cause
• Illness Anxiety Disorder

  • Preoccupation with having or acquiring a serious illness.
  • Somatic symptoms are not present or, if present, are only mild in intensity.
  • present for at least 6 months.
  • will hopping in hospitals
• Conversion Disorder

  • One or more symptoms of altered voluntary motor or sensory function.
  • "cannot be explained" by any underlying illness or injury.
  • affects the central nervous system and
  • causes neurological symptom such as: paralysis, blindness, seizures
