Wind , Solar and Geothermal

• What is wind power?

  Lots of wind turbines in exposed places

  Each turbine has a generator inside of it that turns to produce electricity

  No pollution except for manufacturing

  Issue is they are very noisy and are eye pollution

  If wind stops or is too strong then they dont work efficiently

  Take up alot of space
• Solar power?


  Solar cells are expensive but no environmental damage

  theres no pollution

  very reliable source in sunny countries

  Bad in cloudy countries

  Initial costs high but they are free to run afterwards exluding potential maintenance
• Geothermal Power?


  -Energy from underground Thermal energy stores

  Around volcanic areas or where hot rocks lie near the surface

  -Very good free energy source , little damage to the environment

  Used for energy or to heat buildings directly
