    soldiers- morale became increasingly low, fustration rose, building of fear, opposition to war caused retalliation

    Spreading rumours in 1969, ronald ridenhour began researching and eventually released 30 letters to the members of the government, politicains and military officers.
    News reports and magazines were released across the country.

    Army- americans lost their trust in army, they were undisciplined and inexperienced. 1/3 of troops were using drugs. Soldiers made irrational desicions by high emotions.
