minority Influence occurs when a small group of people can influence the majority of people to change their opinions.
Consistency- being consistent and unchanging a view is more likely to influence the majority than if a minority is inconsistent and changes their mind.
Commitment- when majority is confronted by someone with self confidence and dedication to take a popular stand and refuses to back down, they may assume that they have a good point.
Flexibility- if they appear flexible and compromising, they’re likely to be seen as less extreme, more moderate, cooperative, and reasonable, they have a better chance of changing the majorities views.
