  • The Industrial Revolution enabled industrialized European states to be more powerful and dominate the world.
  • Sense of nationalism and imperialism stimulated. It also helps business person coming to power.
  • The Industrial workers faced bad working conditions. Work hours ranged from 12 to 16 hours a day. There was no security of employment and no fixed minimum wage.
  • The dissatisfaction and poor conditions created by the Industrial Revolution forced the workers leading to different forms of working class movement.
  • So, the workers were forced to fight for their right, to work, to be organized, and to strike against unjust working conditions.
  • The opposition was of two types, organized and spontaneous. Later, they organized a movement to form associations that finally emerged as labor unions.
