The Industrial workers faced bad working conditions. Work hours ranged from 12 to 16 hours a day. There was no security of employment and no fixed minimum wage.
The dissatisfaction and poor conditions created by the Industrial Revolution forced the workers leading to different forms of working class movement.
So, the workers were forced to fight for their right, to work, to be organized, and to strike against unjust working conditions.
The opposition was of two types, organized and spontaneous. Later, they organized a movement to form associations that finally emerged as labor unions.
