  • Girls were separated into the Jungmadel (Young Maidens) from age 10-14, then the Bund Deutscher Madel (BDM - League of German Maidens) from 14-21.
  • Some activities were similar to the boys such as political lectures and camping and marching to build up character and physical strength.
  • There was no military training. This was replaced by domestic training; cooking, ironing, sewing etc. and lessons on ‘racial hygiene’ and how to keep ‘racial purity’ by only marrying Aryan men.
