• Humus is a dark gel like material that increases soil fertility. It is made when decidious leaves fall as plant there and are changed into Humus.
• Brown soil supports - deciduous trees ; oak and ash and grass
• Vegetation influences the soil because above the soil does deciduous trees and when their leaves fall they’re known as plant litter. When this plant litter is broken down by humans and living organisms it changes to humus this process is known as humidification. This influences the soil because humus is a dark gel like material that increases soil fertilit.

• Brown soil is brown in colour it is very fertile because there’s a lot of humus in it. The more humus there is the darker the soil would be.Humus is formed as deciduous trees fall,plant litter. Plant litter is broken by people and living organisms. The process of living organisms breaking down plant litter and changing into humus is known as Humification.Humus is a dark gel like material that binds the soil together and provides it with nutrients.Brown soil is the most common type of soil in Ireland.
