Test to a load sound in the emotional test
One experimenter got Albert’s attention and struck a metal bar that was a metre in length with a hammer behind Albert’s head to test his emotional response to the sound
session 1 : 11 months and 3 days old
bought to the lab and when Albert went to reach for the rat the bar was struck behind Albert’s head, starting the classical conditioning process
session 2 : 11 months and 10 days
a week later, Albert was bought back int the lab and was shown the white rat again with no sound to see if previous experiences effected his behaviour
little Albert was then exposed to joint stimulation 5 more times after this
session 3 : 11 months and 15 days
returned for further testing, but this times they tested his responses to other items, like. a fur coat, a control item which were wooden blocks, the rat, a rabbit, a dog, cotton wool and Watsons hair
session 4 : 11 months and 20 days
emotional response was refreshed using joint stimulation. he was the taken into a new environment, a large well lit texture hall with 4 people, placed on a table in the middle of the room
session 5:
at 12 months and 21 days, Albert was tested for the last time, he had been to the lab in between, but no testing was done. Final test involved a Santa mask, a fur coat, the rat, a rabbit, the dog and the blocks.
