Sexual Response Cycle
Phase 1 Sexual Arousal - excitement involves a combination of mental and sensory stimulation.
Phase 2 The plateau phase - occurs just before orgasm; in this phase, sexual arousal becomes more pronounced.
Phase 3 Orgasm - is the climax of sexual excitement that is pleasurable and releases tension.
Phase 4 Resolution phase - The body returns to its normal state after orgasm. In men, the erection is lost, the testes decrease in size, and the skin of the scrotum thins again.
