  • A job order refers to the posting of a work. If an applicant has been selected and the terms of the assignment (e.g. start and end dates, hourly billing rate) have been adopted, it becomes a work order.
  • A work order is specific to that worker and the job. It involves an agreed-upon hourly billing rate, allocation of expenses, assignment length, and other elements used to track the particular combination of individual and role.
  • Corrective Action - Repairs after catastrophic accidents, tragic failures and a pandemic, for example.
  • Predictive Maintenance - In certain situations, it is used as modern equipment diagnostics aid to estimate the time frame for conducting maintenance work by preparing it on the basis of the condition and scientific prediction.
  • Preventive Maintenance - The Time-dependent Maintenance (TBM) is called maintenance work performed in a scheduled manner and with a fixed time schedule and the maintenance work performed in a scheduled manner is called Condition Dependent Maintenance (CBM) based on the condition of the equipment.
  • Breakdown - It is an efficient measure for generally monitoring the health of the plant.
  • Opportunity Maintenance - If the equipment, production line, assembly line or production cell is shut down, then the opportunity is used to perform such maintenance activities.
  • Self-contained Maintenance - This is a technique adopted to include the operators in their machines' everyday maintenance activities.
