  • InDesign defaults to

    2. Select Styles
    3. Select Paragraph Styles
    4. Click new style icon
    5. Double-click new style
    6. Name style and set formatting options
    7. Click OK
  • Word styles carry over when placing text in InDesign and can be edited as paragraph styles

    Follow same steps as paragraph styles but in Character Styles panel
