Torah

• The Torah is the first 5 books of the Jewish Bible. It’s read in Hebrew
• The Torah scrolls are kept in the Aron HaKodesh (Ark)
• Reading from the Torah are an essential part of worship
• When the reading takes place, the reader will use a YAD to help them follow the words on the scroll
