  They hold their own strict moral code to keep them safe and successful. They have regular clients as well as boyfriends, sugar daddies or husbands. The majority of the women there were from low socioeconomic backgrounds. They earned double or triple the amount that a new college graduate might earn.
• Hair commodification


  The hair is imported from China, to Europe to the United States and started in the 1860’s. People all over Asia collect the hair that has fallen off their head and gather it up and eventually it accumulates. People don’t want synthetic hair; they want real human hair. It is used for human hair wigs, in industrial machines, as rope or as a totem of good luck.
