  • light- is a form of energy that can be seen when it interacts with matter
  • Transverse Waves- light waves that vibrates in the direction perpendicular to the direction of their motion
  • Reflection- is produced when light waves bounce off a surface
  • Refraction- is the bending of light waves as they pass from one material to another
  • Laser Light- has a great deal of heat energy
  • Diverging Lenses- that diverges rays of light that are travelling parallel to its principal axis
  • Electricity - a type of energy that consists of the movement of electrons between two points when there is a potential difference between them, making it possible to generate what is known as an electric current
  • Conduction- is the method of heat transfer that occurs through direct contact between particles within a substance.
  • Vibrations- is a rapid back-and-forth movement of an object or a medium.
  • Conductors - the material or substances which allow electricity to flow through them.
  • Semiconductor- a good material that is neither a good conductor nor a good insulator of heat and electricity.
  • Thermal conductivity- the ability of a material to transfer heat.
  • Convection- another way by which heat energy can be transferred.
  • Heat - energy that is transferred from one body to another as the result of a difference in temperature.
  • Molten Zone- acts as an electrical conductor with normal conductivity and heat is generated throughout its volume
  • Sound- is a form of energy produced by vibrations that travel through a medium, such as water, or solids.
  • position- is very important when it comes to finding a specific object.
  • Time- the indefinite continued progress of existence and event in the past/ present/and future
  • Motion- Is when a body is continuously changing it's position with respect to the frame of reference.
  • Distance- Is an amount of space between two things or people.
  • Direction- a course along which someone or something move a lot.
  • Velocity- Is the speed in combination with the direction of motion of an object.
  • Measurement- The size, length, or amount of something, as established by measuring
  • Meter Scale- device used to measure the length of any item
  • Speed- The rate at which someone or something is able to move or operate
  • System International D'Unites- is used for measuring the distance.
