    • Primary Source - information that was created at the same time as an event.
    • Primary Source - diaries, speches, letters, official records, autobiographies.
    • Secondary source - its informationfrom somewhere else or by a person not directly involved in the event.
    • Secondary source - encyclopedia, textbooks, book reports
    • Research - an inquiry-based activity that allows researcher to read exsting literature, look for elevant data, interpret and analyze information then formulate questions and recommendations.
    • Research - fact-finding activity that requires a researcher to look closely to the situation to understand the problem, and then investigate.
    • Basic research - aims to provide additional inormation to the existing body of knowledge in one's discipline.
    • Applied research - aims to improve a product or a proces to validate existing theories.
    • Action research - aims to provide immediate solutions to existing problems on a limited area and on a very particular level.
