    He was very charismatic and a genius showman who knew how to work an audience. His basic message was that the German people were not to blame for the problems in Germany and he encouraged people to find their inner-confidence in order to make Germany great.

    6 million were unemployed and one third were on benefits, people lost faith in normal political parties such as the SPD and looked for radical parties who promised radical solutions, that is why people started to vote for anti-democratic parties such as the Nazis and the Communists

    People didn't vote for Hitler because they liked him, the voted for him because they shared the same dislikes. People were scared of Communism and thought Hitler would be better than the Communists
