  • Documentation - is the system which formally acknowleded the source you consult for your research paper.
  • Documentation - includes all references on resources within the text of your paper and to the full bibliographical entries of the end of your paper.
  • Paraphrase - repeats the information using different words and phrases, basically putting the author's sentences into your ow words.
  • Qoute/Qoutation - means to take information exactly as you found it on one of your sources and place it into your paper.
  • Source - one of the materials you will find during your research which you will read for information and will perhaps refer to in your paper.
  • Summary - condenses information and restates only its main ideas.
  • Plagiarism - the use of someone else's words or ideas without being acknowledge.
  • Technical Definition - having special and usually practical knowledge especially of a mechanical or scientific subject.
  • Operational Definition - is the specific meaning of a word or phrase when it is applied in a specifc context. t is more on the application o the word.
