  -100 companies incl. IMB, Citi, and Microsoft -15000 jobs in construction -25000 jobs upon completion -1.5 mil sq ft of business space has been developed and another 3 million sq ft has planning approval -Titanic Belfast has attracted over 3.5 million visitors from 145 countries -Stepping Stones project aims to help long-term unemployed find work

  Locals don't have necessary skills to access new jobs and may require training
• Housing (Positive)


  -474 apartments have been constructed in the Arc -Plans are in place to build 5,000 apartments and homes over the next 15 years -20,000 able to live -social housing will be developed -housing close to work means less fuel -Apartments have a smaller urban footprint
• Housing (Negative)


  -Locals cannot afford these apartments, many in the Arc remain unoccupied and locals are angry at social housing
• Transport (Positive)


  -TQ is very close to the CBD of Belfast and may become an extension -BRT is a 90 million investment which saw Gliders introduced -TQ train station -A Belfast Bikes docking station -Pedestrian walkways and cycle paths -reduction in private car usage will result in a decrease in CO2 emissions

  The introduction of a 12-hour Glider bus lane in TQ resulted in high levels of congestion in the area
