• depression: mood disorder emotional characteristics - sadness, lost of interest & pleasure in activities a person is normally interested in behavioural - difficulty concentrating, excessive sleep or insomnia, increased or decreased appetite. cognitive - irrational negative thoughts about the self, world and future.
