Kaddish

• Prayer public ally recited by mourners, said three times a day - shiva only broken by Sabbath or Jewish festival.
• 30 days after burial = Sheloshim - mourners don’t go out for pleasure and continue to mourn
• Next 11 months Kaddish prayer said everyday - from the on, dead person remembered annually on aniversary of death by lighting of a Yahrzeit candle and reciting Kaddish.
• Before anniversary, tombstone will be placed at grace - when people visit a Jewish grave they place small stone on gravestone = sign of respect
