Distributions

Cards (4)

  • Normal distributions form a graph (typically a histogram) with a central peak displaying the highest / most common scores / data within a population.
  • Skewed distribution is the distribution of scores forming an asymmetrical graph. The most common scores produce a longer skews.
  • Positive skews - More scores are at the lower end of the graph, outliers are at the higher end.
  • Negative skewers - More scores at the higher end of the graph, outliers at the lower end.
