• • All people are created by God as equals and should show their equality by respecting each other.

• • Quakers are completely opposed to violence and war in all circumstances.

• • Refuse to partake in military service during war, as a matter of conscience (Conscientious Objectors)
• • Nations Commission on Human Rights (an international forum on human rights) upheld rights of conscientious objectors - 1995
