  • Humans have dominion over creation. 'They may rule over all the creatures' (Genesis 1:26)
  • Allow animal experimentation for medical reasons (e.g. drug / vaccine trials) to ensure the preservation of human life (St Thomas Aquinas - Primary Precept)
  • Human life is more valuable than animal life (humans are made 'imago dei'). Everything is created for man.
