    By India:
    - 10 tonnes in blankets
    - 50 tonnes of water and 22 tonnes of food
    - Doctors and 2 tonnes of medical supplies
    - On May 1st international aid agencies helped to start medically evacuate critically wounded via helicopter
  • Long term responses to Nepal earthquake

    - World food programme provided food for 1.3 million people
    - roads repaired, landslides cleared and flooded lakes drained
    - British government pledged £33 million. £10 million going to primary healthcare and rebuilding hospitals
    - Over 7000 schools rebuilt or repaired
