reasons why left wing bolsheviks hated the NEP

• the kind of society it created such as nepmen who got rich form it and the evils of capitalism such as crime, prostitution, corruption, gambling and alcoholism
• 1923 'scissors crisis' when grain prices were low and industrial prices too high
• it gave too much power to the peasantry as if they stopped grain the bolsheviks would face bread riots
• it wasn't communist enough as business owners were running factories for profits, private trade profited and peasants selling grain profited showing too much capitalism
• lenin was worries that the new would cause a split in the party and if this happened the bolsheviks might loose their grip on power. so to prevent this he introduced a ban of factions at he tenth party congress 1921 and anyone who did forma a faction would be expelled from the party
