The night journey after Khadijah died,Muhammad was destroyed/distraught broken at the loss he went to the ka’ba to pray,he would go at night to be alone.Angel Gabriel visited again took Muhammad on a journey. Mecca to Jerusalem up to the heavens,hell, meeting the prophets; Abraham Moses and Jesus and back to Mecca.Here God told him that Muslims should pray 5 times a day.
• 5. The Hijra - Mecca was a town full of rich and powerful people - before Muhammad’s revelation these people Worshipped many different gods and ideas. They were not happy with Muhammad monotheistic message. Mohammed was teaching and preaching about Allah and his followers were persecuted. Muhammad heard about communities in Medina who were following Islam he and his followers fled Medina for safety this event is known as the Mohammed heard about communities in Medina
