  • Case Law
    The aggregate of written judicial decisions, most of which are reported, on the law as it exists and applies to particular facts.
  • Case law may concern what two things? Define those to things.
    Case law concerns:
    1. Legislation in Case Law – The competence or the interpretation or the application of some statute. Though, it may also concern the interpretation and application of some constitution provision.
    2. Judge-made Law in Case law – Regards identity, interpretation, or application of some area of judge-made law. This is law is divided into two bodies: (1) common law and (2) equity.
