Uncle Aaron

• Uncle Aaron / Night prowler is an eccentric character in this film because of his dual identities as he is both a thoughtful uncle and he is part of Kingpin’s (the Antagonist) group, he is known as Night Prowler.His two identities add to the complexities. (Colours)
• Miles' uncle is really caring, he asks Miles how he is thriving in school. Miles told his uncle about a conversation he had with a girl at school. His uncle advised him that he should be more social ; “Tomorrow find that girl and walk up to her and say “Hey”.In the film, his uncle took him to this underground location where they did some graffiti. Miles’ uncle told him about how he and Miles’ dad used to do graffiti until “he took up the cop thing”.
• • Even though Miles' uncle wasn't present when he was bitten by a radioactive spider in this crucial incident, he was outside the underground location at the time waiting for Miles.
  • Miles discovered that his uncle was an anti - hero as he was in his house to confined in him by writing a letter, “I gotta to do something and I don’t know if I can do it. I’m scared man, I'm tired of letting everyone down, You're the only one I can talk to.”
• He discovered how his uncle was a hero and when he saw him in a costume picking up a call from Mr Fisk who is kingpin. He says he will catch the kid that was a Pro-hero, which was Miles.He was devastated that his uncle, (Prowler) was Anti-hero.
• In the last moments of the film, the relationship between Miles and Night Prowler takes a turn as Aaron sacrificed his life to protect Miles. This act of selfishness reveals the deeper connection between Miles and his uncle and their close relationship which we saw from the start. Uncle Aaron’s final words was “I wanted you to look up to me,I let you down your the best of all of us You’re on your way, just keep going.”
