  • Non-union – Contract is governed by employment law.
  • Union – Individual contract of employment is with employer.
• Labour Law


  Involves a collective agreement between the employer and a group of employees – a bargaining unit that governs an employment relationship – in the union.
• Family Law


  Involves an agreement: a contract of marriage.
• Insurance Law


  Involves a contract of insurance between an insured person and the company.
• Agency Law


  The relationship between two people where there is an agreement that one may act on behalf of the other.
