calcium is needed for strong bones
if you don't have enough calcium you can get rickets which is the deformation of bones
iron is a component of haemoglobin, which is a protein that carries oxygen in the blood. if you don’t gave enough of it you can get anemia which means you cant transport as much oxygen to your tissues
fibre is a carbohydrate that is not digested by the body and used to move food through our intestines properly which stops us from getting diarrhoea and constipation
water is used for chemical reactions and to replace the water we are constantly losing by breathing, sweating and urinating
