• Energy - it is the ability of something, or a body, to do work or exert force to move another body.

• Mechanical energy - energy stored in a system due to the position or movement of the body.
• 2 types of Mechanical Energy

  1. Kinetic energy
  2. Potential energy
• Kinetic energy - energy possessed by an object in motion.
• Potential energy - energy possessed by a body at rest or by its position.
• Internal / Thermal energy - energy stored in the bonds of molecule. (Repulsive and attractive force of total molecules.)
• Heat Energy - Energy possessed by transferring heat due to a change in temperature between two bodies.
• Electrical energy - energy contained in the electrons of conductors.
• Chemical energy - energy in the matter or atomic(subatomic) particles. STORED IN MATTER.
• Radiant energy - energy coming from electromagnetic waves
