Observational learning

• Banduras social learning theory -

  We learn by copying significant others ,especially those we see be rewarded

  -vicarious reinforcement -observe people and imitate their behaviour if we see it be rewarded
• Banduras four stage process model of observational learning

  1. attention -focus on the key aspects of the skill
  2. retention- remember the key aspects and create a mental image
  3. motor reproduction - are you physically able to perform the skill
  4. motivation - do you have the motivation to work hard and math the performance
