  • Context around love:
    • Courtly love is when a young man falls in love with a wealthy lady and tries to make himself worthy to her.
    • Real love- by comparison is powerful, emotional and deep etc
    • Arranged marriage is in Elizabethan times, it would be common practice to get married at 13 years of age. Typically, parents chose their child's partners, and this would be based on wealth, potential titles and family titles.
