• What is an attachment?

  A strong bond is formed with their caregivers.
• There are three types of attachment; Safe base, Stranger Anxiety & Separation Anxiety.
• Stranger anxiety - When the child becomes anxious around strangers because they don’t feel safe without their primary carer
• Safe Base - The child feels secure when they're close to the primary carer
• Separation Anxiety - When the child becomes upset if separated from their primary carer
