Organizational citizenship behaviors (OCBs) - are discretionary behaviors that represent a willingness to “go beyond the call of duty” or “go the extra mile” in one’s work.
Interpersonal OCBs—Does things that although not required of them help others (i.e., altruism)
Organizational OCBs—Advance the performance of the organization as a whole (e.g., doing what needs to be done, following rules, coming to work on time, and not wasting time)
