Crimes vary from country to country and they are defined by the
law.
What counts as crime in one country may not be a
crime
in another.
Punishment
The crime someone commits matters so they can be
punished
correctly.
If they commit a serious crime then they will get a
serious
punishment.
If they commit a minor crime then they will get a
minor
punishment.
