• global hubs - cores that demonstrate connections to the world (through trade , ideas , migration.) TNCS and foreign direct investors show interest to base there
• 3-4% of world's population are international migrants - majority of migrants to HICs
• Asia - largest number of migrants within the continent (63 million). South to West Asia
• A MNC is similar to a TNC but it DOES have a centralised management system
• HIC + NEE emit the most Co2
• HICs less likely to agree to climate change agreements if it means they have reduce carbon emissions - due to more lavish and demanding lifestyle
