in 1475 Edward again collected taxes as England expected a real and glorious war with France

He had alliances with Burgundy and Brittany to combine their strength against the King of France
Brittany and Burgundy failed to provide the promised support leaving Edward isolated
Edward met Louis at Picquigny to agree a treaty. they came up with a 7 year truce, Edwards eldest daughter married Louis' son and France payed Edward a large payment to bribe his army home.
Louis payed £15,000 immediately and £10,000 per year
France got rid of their treaty once they made a treaty with Burgundy
