    • Brain scans allow investigation into how the structure relates to the function, allowing unobservable factors to be taken into account.
    • High internal validity- use of scientific experimental methods increases replicability and reliability, which means cause and effect can be established.
  • Limitations of the Biological Approach:
    • Doesn't fully account for the influence of our environment and other individuals on our behaviour
