Introduction to Programming

• Programming - is a set of instructions to your computer
• Coding - is a process of transforming those instructions into a written language that a computer can understand
• Computer Software - Software, instructions that tell a computer what to do. Software comprises the entire set of programs, procedures, and routines associated with the operation of a computer system
• Operating System - is a software which performs all the basic tasks, like file management, memory management, process management, handling input and output, and controlling peripheral devices such as disk drives and printers
• Structure - is a group of variables of different data types represented by a single name
