Conduction of Electricity

• Charging by friction is done by rubbing two materials together, causing electrons to be transferred from one to the other
• Charging by induction is done by holding a charged object near an uncharged object, causing electrons to be repelled from one end to the other
• Static electricity is the imbalance of electric charges
• Electrical current is the rate of flow of electric charge
• Conventional current flows from positive to negative
• Electron flow flows from negative to positive
