      • Muslims believe that prophets show an example of how Muslims should live their life. For example, Prophet Muhammad showed how a Muslim should pray to Allah in order to live a good life and complete one of the five pillars, Salah.
      • Another belief is that prophets are messengers of God are chosen by God to convey His messages. This means that they are sent by God to spread the message of Islam and to guide people. This can be seen in the Shahadah “There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is His Messenger”
    • Some Muslims believe that the Qur'an is the most important authority in a Muslim's life because it contains a complete and accurate record of Allah's message to mankind, revealed to Muhammad through the angel Jibril, and remaining unchanged since its revelation over 1400 years ago.
    • Allah is the one omnipotent and all-encompassing deity in Islam, and His word is true and absolute, according to some Muslims.
    • The Qur'an states that "God is the Truth (the Real)" (Qur'an 22:6).
    • The Qur'an is referred to as "This is the book of which there can be no doubt" (Qur'an 2:2).
    • The Qur'an is the most important authority in a Muslim's life as it is the ultimate word of Allah.
    • The Qur'an, like any ancient text, requires interpretation.
    • Different scholars may interpret its verses differently, leading to various schools of thought and sects within Islam.
    • While interpretation is necessary, certain core principles are universally agreed upon.
