• interdependence- how different organisms depend on eachother for survival
• ecological relationships- the interactions between organisms
• 3 types: predation, mutualism, parasitism
• parasitism- one organism taking from the other like a parasite
• mutualism- both organisms benefit from the relationship, but one isn’t essential to the other
• predation- a predator kills and eats another organism for food
