Negative feedback loop

• Once Glucose levels in the blood rise

  • The pancreas releases more insulin and less glucagon
  • The cells remove glucose from the blood and convert it into glucagon
• Once glucose levels lower

  • The liver releasees glycogen which enters the blood stream and turns glucagon into glucose

  After this the glucose levels return to normal
