Waist

Waist-
measure around the smallest part of the body just above the hip bone.
Hips
or
seat
- measure around the largest part of the hips, over the fullest part of the buttocks.
Length
of the pajama pants - place the tape measure from the hipbone down to the desired length of the pajama.
Bottom/hem circumference
- place the tape measure around the hem circumference of the ankle.
Crotch
or
rise
- put a tailor’s square between the legs, up to the end of the buttocks.
