Themes and Styles • A theme is a setofcolors, fonts, and effects that provides a consistent look and feel to a document. • A style is a predefined combination of fontstyle, color, and size that can be applied to any text in
a document. Styles are used to quickly modify text in any part of your document.
Lists and Columns • Bulleted and numbered lists are used to outline, arrange, and emphasize text in a document.
• Columns improve readability of a document.
o The availablecolumn presets are one, two, three, left, and right. You can customize the
number of columns, and adjust the width and spacing of each column. Columns can be
applied to the entire document or selected text only.
Tables and Charts • A table consists of columns and rows. It is used to organize information in a document.
• A chart is used to displayseries of numeric data in a graphical format to make it easier to understand
large quantities of data and the relationship between different series of data.
o Basic chart types are column, line, pie, bar, and area.
TextWrapping • By default, images that are added to a document are positionedtobeinline with text. To freely
move the image, you must change the wrapping style.
