      Once the type of pathogen has been discovered the correct medication can be given and an Administration route can be chosen

      Treatments must be done in the correct way for the correct amount of time
    • Examples of parasites
      • fleas, ticks, lice, worms, mites, flukes
    • Immunoglobulins (antibodies) bind to antigens on pathogen surfaces and neutralize them or mark them for destruction by other cells.
    • Lymphocytes are white blood cells involved in the adaptive immune response.
    • Antigens are molecules that trigger an immune response by binding to specific receptors on lymphocytes.
